They said I tried to kill myself

From kmcdonald129@comcast.net (68.62.248.110) on October 28, 2003 at 12:00:37:

Recently I went to my primary care physician, whom I was unaware had left the group where I had been going and had to see another doctor that I had not seen before, I take 750 mg of depakote a day and 3 mg of clonapin a day to control seizures. The doctor I saw on that day informed me she did not give out those medications and gave me a withdraw prescription of the clonapin, an antidepressant and another prescription. I took those to my regular pharmacist who refused to fill them because they were not the medications I should have had. He gave me the address where my regular Doctor had gone and I made an appointment. During this time since I was a new patient at that office I started cutting back on my depakote to make it last until my appointment. On the day of my accident, we went out to dinner after work, I have my receipts 16.09 for food and a glass of wine and 1.95 for a glass of wine 2 hours later. I had not had any clonapin that day, my husband went after he got off of work and had it filled Almost as soon as I left the restaurant something happened, I have no memory of it at all, the first thing I remember is the looking through my purse for my cell phone to call home. I was dragged out of my car and a police officer started yelling at me, now I was very confused which I always am after a seizure, which I never have if I have my meds like I'm supposed to. I was arrested for dui and taken to the hospital where I was treated for seizures with ativan. I remember things after the ativan because the seizures stopped. I do not recall when they drew blood, nor does any of the paper work and I have the full hospital record mention the drawing of blood. However they put me under watch because they said my blood alcohol content was 241, I had to have a person stay in the room with me that worked at the hospital. The hospital shink said I was defensive when he came to see me, because I had no IDEA what he was talking about. I know what I had to drink, my 2 glasses of wine and maybe another half glass in a 3.5 hour period. There is no way my alcohol content was that high and the fact that I was only treated for the seizures in the ER bothers me, They said I was dehydrated but forgot to run the IV fluids in the emergency room. Would they have actually given someone they deemed had put their own life at risk with a blood plasma (what they actually ran in stead of a regular blood alcohol content and I was dehydrated as indicated by their records) of 241? That would have been one heck of an antidepressant IV push on top of an awful high blood plasma content. Would that not have made me worse? Now they do have me thinking I'm going crazy.
